Polaris Supreme Fish Reports
Tuesday Bluefin Update
Update 1:15PM-
Captain Aliyar checked in and is now up to 40 Bluefin!
We've seen our fair share of ups and downs with the Bluefin fishing since the start of the season. Although the outcome may vary from trip to trip, the effort that our Captain and crew puts in remains constant. They fish hard day and night to provide the best possible opportunity.
Perseverance paid off last night and our group was able to land 27 Bluefin from 50-90lbs. We have plenty of time left to fish on this 2 Day and we are hoping they stay in the biting mood.
Big Bluefin
The quality didn't disappoint. We wrapped up our 2 Day with 76 Bluefin up to 160lbs. We had ample opportunities at night. Suffered quite a few losses due to the average size of the fish. If you're on an upcoming trip be sure to come prepared.
Back on the Bluefin
Off to a great start on our 2 Day. We departed yesterday morning and got back on the biting fish in a hurry. When the dust settled this morning, we had 57 Bluefin on deck from 70-120lbs.
As Good As It Gets
The Bluefin have been making us work for it this season. There has been no shortage of fish in recent weeks, but getting them to bite has been a different story. That narrative changed for the better on this last 2 Day. We returned with limits of Bluefin for our group. The quality is excellent with a number of fish over the 100lb mark. We had several young anglers on the boat this last trip and boy did they get it done!
2 Day Trip Check In
Hey, guys! Good afternoon, Just wanted to call and check in, letting you guys know how we're doing. We left yesterday on a two-day trip, and we had a very successful fishing session last night. We caught 50 to 100-pound bluefin tuna. We managed to catch 64 fish from yesterday until this morning. The opportunities have been great, with plenty of nice schools of fish around. So, if you guys want to come fishing, we have some excellent options available. We have scheduled a bunch of two-day trips from early December to mid-December, which was a fantastic time last year. This is especially ideal for those interested in catching mid-grade 50 to 100-pound fish. We had incredible fishing during the same period last year. If you're interested in joining these trips or two-day trips with morning departures, you'll get two nights of fishing with meals included. It's a great opportunity, and you can visit our website at Polaris Supreme.com or call Lindsey at 619-706-3634 to book your spot.
We also have an eight-day trip and a seven-day trip in November and December, respectively, with some openings available. Furthermore, we might have one spot left for our Christmas party trip, which departs the day after Christmas. Last year, we had an excellent time fishing for bigger fish, ranging from 100 to 200 pounds, during that period. So, if you're interested in joining these trips, please reach out to Lindsey, and she'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We prioritize your comfort, and our boat is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including showers. We have a skilled crew and an extensive selection of tackle on board. If you want to check out the boat, there will be an opportunity to do so. Once again, you can visit our website at Polaris Supreme.com to view our full schedule online, or you can give Lindsey a call at 619-706-3634. Hopefully, I'll see you guys on the boat!
3 Day Wrap Up
We returned to the dock this morning with 92 Bluefin Tuna for our 3 Day. There was no shortage of Bluefin in the zone. The trick was finding the right school that wanted to bite. Most of our opportunities came in the evening on the jigs. The weather has been nice the last few trips and we are hoping things stay consistent here for a while. Back at it this morning on a 2 Day.
Biting Bluefin
After some up and down fishing this past week, the guys are back on some biting fish. Captain Aliyar reported in from their 3 Day with 57 Bluefin Tuna on the boat. It's a mixed grade of fish with 20 in the 25-40lb and the rest in the 50-90lb class. The Bluefin were much more responsive, so let’s hope this is a sign of things to come.
2 Day Trips Added in December
I wanted to let you know that we have recently added a bunch of two-day trips, as well as 5-6 two-day trips for December. If you're interested, visit the Polaris Supreme and contact Lindsey at 619-706-3634. These trips will focus on Bluefin Tuna and depart in the morning at 10:00 AM, providing you with two nights of fishing. December has historically been a great time for Bluefin Tuna enthusiasts. To secure your spot on these trips, give Lindsey a call. If you have any inquiries about other trips, we also have available slots for longer trips in November and December. We just posted these trips a few hours ago, so feel free to contact Lindsey once again at 619-706-3634. We hope to see you on board. Thank you.
Steady Opportunities
Tough conditions during the day gave way to some good opportunity in the dark last night. We added another 36 Bluefin, bringing our total for the first two days up to 74. There were a few smaller models mixed in last night, but overall the grade of fish is excellent. Most are in the 60-100lb range. There was no shortage of schools, but we definitely had to work for our bites. The 300g jigs seemed to be working best.
Back At It
We departed on a 3 Day yesterday morning and it didn't take long to get back on the fish. A couple good stops produced some excellent quality. As the sun came up, they had 39 Bluefin from 80-100lbs on deck. Hoping for more of the same this evening.
