Polaris Supreme Fish Reports
3 Day Bluefin Limits
That's a wrap for our 3 Day. Rounded out our Bluefin limits this morning and we will be looking for other species to finish out the trip. Most of the Bluefin were in the 40-80lb range with some 100-150lb models mixed in. The 50# flyline setup was the most productive during the day and the 300g jigs were working best in the dark.
Steady Bluefin Fishing
We are putting together a solid 3 Day count. Aliyar checked in earlier this morning with 100 Bluefin up to 135lbs. The weather has been less than ideal, but that hasn't stopped the fish from biting. Our group has fished hard through some windy conditions and has some nice quality to show for their efforts. The weather has improved this morning and we are hoping for a strong finish to our 3 Day.
Daytime Bluefin
It's nice to catch them when the sun is up. Captain Aliyar checked in from their 2 Day with 50 Bluefin Tuna. They have had a couple great stops today on the 40-110lb grade. There is an excellent sign of fish in the area, and they are responding well. The 40# flyline setup is the producing the majority of the fish.
Fun Father’s Day Fishing
It was a great weekend for our 3 Day group. Conditions were in our favor and we were able to land 118 Bluefin for our trip. We started off with limits style fishing on the 30-70lb class for the first two days and then focused our attention on the larger fish. We finished up with another 15 fish from 100-175lbs.
Bluefin Limits
The great fishing continues. Captain Aliyar checked in with limits of Bluefin for their 2 Day trip. The night fishing is still the most productive, so be sure to get some rest during the day. It's imperative that you're ready when the opportunity presents itself.

Bluefin Limits
We returned from a 3 Day yesterday morning with full fish holds and a happy group of anglers. Captain Tanner put our group on limits style Bluefin fishing. The majority of the fish were in the 50-100lb range with some bigger models mixed in. Great weather and even better fishing.
We turned around on a 2 Day yesterday morning and it didn't take Aliyar long to get back in the rhythm. He checked in this morning with 61 Bluefin from 50-120lbs!
Back To Business
We finally found what we've been looking for. Excellent fishing the last couple days for our 3 Day group. The Bluefin turned on and we have 135 fish on the boat. The average size is 40-90lbs with a handful of fish over 100. We are on the last day of our trip and Captain Tanner is looking to put a few more on the boat to round out our limits.
3 Day Wrap Up
Be prepared to put in your time at the rail. The counts don’t always reflect the opportunities. We had multiple fish from 100-150LBS on this last trip. The key is being prepared when we find the right spot of fish.
Making the Best of Conditions
Well, the Bluefin having been living up to their reputation here recently. There has been no shortage of fish, it has just been difficult to a get bite. Our group made the best of challenging conditions and managed 20 Bluefin for their efforts. We had some nice quality in the dark landing 7 fish from 100-150lbs.
