Quality Bluefin
Started off our 3 Day on the right note. Managed some triple digit fish in the dark. We have a great group of anglers onboard and we are looking forward to a fun couple days of fishing.
4 Day Bluefin Update
The guys checked in from their 4 Day with 75 Bluefin Tuna up to 150lbs. The quality is there, with most fish falling in the 60-80lb range. Overall, the fish have been very unsettled. Our group has capitalized on the opportunities available, but we are still waiting for that right school. There is still plenty of time left to fish today and we are hoping to finish on a high note.
4 Day Trip Audio Wrap Up
We're just wrapping up a four-day trip with very good fishing, catching limits of Bluefin Tuna on this trip. Most of our fish were 25 to 40 pounds, but we did have some in the 60 to 100-pound range as well. It was fun fishing both at night and during the day. We went down the beach and did some kelping it was something different – first time this season.We had 50 kelp patty Yellowtail and a few Dorado, so hopefully, things are coming together down there.
2024 Schedule Is Now Posted!
The wait is over! Our 2024 Open Party schedule is now posted. We sold out in record time last season, so be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible and avoid being left at the dock. We encourage you to make reservations online. Lindsay is also available to take reservations over the phone, but the wait times may be significant over the next few days.
Off to a Good Start
Started off our trip on the right note. By the time the sun came up this morning we had 59 Bluefin up to 100lbs. There are a few smaller ones in the mix, but most of the fish are in the 50-80lb range. We added another 10 fish here this morning and they are in currently in a stop with fish hanging.
Back on the Good Grade
The sun is shining and the Bluefin are biting. We have had some great opportunities on the larger grade fish over the last couple days. We are up to 101 Bluefin and 5 Yellowfin for our 3 Day. The majority of our Bluefin are in the 60-120lb range with several fish up to 180lbs. There is still plenty of fishing time left today before we have to head for home.
4th of July Bluefin
We returned from our 4 Day this morning with 102 Bluefin up to 165lbs. We had a few good shots at the larger grade and were able to pick away in the daylight hours. Captain Tanner put our group on some fun fishing. We are back at it on a 3 Day this morning.
Excellent Fishing Continues
The first 3 days of our trip are in the books. We have limits of Bluefin for our group. Most of the fish are in the 40-80lb range with a few up to 120lbs. Couldn't have asked for much more. Great fishing and great weather. We are going to spend the remainder of the trip fishing Yellowtail.
Right Back At It
We arrived in the zone late yesterday after a quick morning turn around. We picked up right where we left off. Limits of Bluefin Tuna for the first day of the trip. 40-80lb average with a few 100-120lb fish mixed in.
As Good as It Gets
As good as it gets. Tough to elaborate on that. We returned from our 3 Day this morning with limits of Bluefin up to 150lbs. Great fishing with a great group of anglers. Back at it on a 4 Day this morning.
