Hi Gang,

We returned home early Sunday mornming from our annual Ray Jarvis Memorial 8 day trip. What an awesome trip we had. The caliber of biting yellowtail we experienced on the ridge was phenominal with just about everything caught on yo yo and surface jigs. Our Alijos Rocks experience was amazing with flat calm weather the entire time, good fishing for big yellowtail, and a couple days of steady wahoo action. We fished our way up the coast in nice weather for the remainder of our time. This trip we caught yellowtail, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, gulf grouper, cabrilla, pargo, and calico bass. Thank you to everyone that fished with us and a big thank you to our trip host David Tang for putting the trip together. We are all looking forward to this trip again next year. Our jackpot winners for the trip are as follows: third place went to Ken Bush with a 39.7 pound wahoo, second place went to Mike Kang with a 46.5 pound wahoo, and first place went to Stephen Sotelo with a 50.7 pound wahoo. Big fish honors goes to Stephen Sotelo with a 68.7 pound wahoo he caught on the troll. Big yellowtail for the trip goes to Mike Kang with a 37.9 pound fish. A huge thanks to the company's that provided giveaways for the trip: JRI Custom Lures, United Composite Rods, and Okuma. We are currently out on our annual JG Slammer Ultra Limited Load 7 day traveling south in nice weather. Thanks for checking in. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
