Wide Open Dorado

Hi Gang,

We made a move to the south yesterday and it paid off with some of the best dorado fishing we have seen all year. Most of our fish were 12 to 18 pounds with some fish around 20 pounds. We picked up a dozen or so in the morning and come around 1100, we found an open water school that was biting with reckless abandon. Every bait in the corner was a bite until we had to drive away from biting fish. It was a great day. Chef Terry treated everyone to an incredible dinner of fresh Ahi over rice with a French salsa verde. It was amazing. We continued south and are trying for big tuna today. So far we have landed 2 yellowfin over 100 pounds. We have a lot of daylight left. Thanks for checking in. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
