Good Offshore Fishing

Hi Gang,

We spent the day offshore yesterday looking at some different water in hopes of locating some yellowfin tuna. We had good weather all day and a clear water image to look at. Unfortunately, we did not locate any yellowfin tuna but we did map out some good water with good life in it. The highlight of our day was a kelp paddy that produced wide open yellowtail fishing and a fair amount of dorado to go with it. It was an action packed stop that lasted over an hour. Super fun fishing on yellowtail that were mostly 12 to 18 pounds and 25 dorado that were 10 to 16 pounds. Everyone had a blast and it was a great way to end an already awesome trip. A huge thanks to everyone that fished with us on the trip as it was a great group of anglers that fished well together. Thank you also to Anglers Choice tackle for all of the great raffle prises and giveaways. On another note, we had a few last minute cancellations on 2 of our 5 day trips next month. Check your calender and we hope to see you on board. We depart on our annual Gary Alexander 7 day trip this morning. Wish us luck. Thanks for checking in, Captian Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
