Hi Gang,

We awoke this morning to a nice sunrise and a flat calm ocean. With the sign of fish we had yesterday afternoon, we were all ready for some good fishing today. As the morning progressed, it was apparent that would not be happening right away. We had slack water conditions with zero current. After numerous anchor jobs, we found the school of yellowtail that we located the day before and it was game on. The best methods for getting bit today were the sliding egg sinker rig and the yo yo jig. Very good yellowtail fishing for us with fish up to 28 pounds. We did not see or catch any tuna today but, we did hook, catch, and release another 2 stripped marlin. After a great day of fishing, our chefs preppared another amazing meal of fresh yellowtail that was outstanding. We will be working up the coast tomorrow and try our hand at a different location. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
