On most multi-day trips on the first day when you leave the dock, it's normally a day of travel and then you arrive at your destination the following morning. Today was different - we got an early start and after running around 55 miles, we thought we'd wet a few lines to get the bugs out.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that today was the day that we'd have good fishing on these good grade Albacore to start out the trip.

When the sun went down we had put together a few stops for a total of 62 Albacore.

Wow. Needless to say we are going to start up here in the morning and give this a try again and hope it acts like it did today.
