Good morning folks, We apologize for the late report, but we were very busy. Anyhow, we moved to a new area yesterday in hopes of hitting the jackpot. Boy did the gamble pay off! We had all the quality grade yellowtail we needed in just a few hrs. It was an unbelievable bite, and even our first timers, Collin and Alton from West Virginia got in on the action. The grade is fantastic and even though you get a throwback size once in awhile, it is steady 18-25 lb fish. Then we went offshore and hit the motherlode of kelps! We had the same on Bull dorado. They were eating everything we threw at them. Sardine, mackerel, anchovy, and spanish mackerel, and before the bite was over,we were landing wahoo! All in all quite an epic day aboard the Intrepid. The area we had traveled to is quite far away, so we decided to gain some altitude and spend our last day looking for bluefin and yellowfin. EPIC FISHING!
