Kona Mike is having surgery today to fix the nerve damage that is affecting his speech. The bullet stopped 1 cm from his carotid artery which makes Mike a very lucky man. All surgeons involved agree that removing the bullet is not a good idea because of the amount of nerves and arteries surrounding the slug. Mike is in good spirits and asks for your prayers.
