Day one in Cow Town was pretty good for us. The day started out on the slow side, but by midday we got what we wanted and it was good fishing for Big Yellowfin. There were many highlights today and a few heartbreaks, but overall we did very well landing what we hooked. Birthday boy Jim Odlum caught his wish in the form of a 230 lber, Happy Birthday Jim. Big fish honors go to Mark Goldman with a 260 lber. First cow of the day was caught by Fishybuzz at 210 lbs, which earned him the first swipe with the clippers on Chads hair!! We caught 24 Big Fish today with 10 of those going over 200 lbs, there were also a handful of fish in the 190's. Most of the fish were in the 150-180 lb range and are very mean spirited, making it a fun challenge. We will make some bait tonight and get back at it tomorrow. "The Intrepid Team"
