It turned out to be a very fun and exciting day for us today. The Tuna were almost a complete no show with the exception of one lone Bluefin, but the Yellows absolutely exploded for us. The came through in waves and waves providing full speed action from 9:00am until dark. It was one of the best Yellowtail bites many have ever seen. Everything worked when they charged the boat, poppers, surface iron was on fire, swim baits were being inhaled, dead bait counted for some great laughter and quality tails. You get the picture, it was loads of fun. So with sore arms and tired anglers we are off to do some offshore kelp fishing in a different area and try to pick up some Dorado or Wahoo. Wish us luck.
