Hi Gang. We had a very fun day of fishing today. Yellowtail action in the morning, a good biting school of yellowfin tuna mid day, and a kelp with good grade dorado in the afternoon. The highlight would have to be the school of yellowfin we found. It was like an aquarium for a period of time, you could watch a swarm of about 10 to 15 fish all try to eat your bait at the same time...very cool stuff. Our weather continues to be nice. Life is good on the Intrepid. Wish us luck tomorrow, Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team.
The photo's for today are of John Morris and our own Dave Taylor with a morning yellowtail and a father/son photo of Dave and Mark Henry with two yellows both caught on the full size blue and white Salas 6x.
Here are some messages from the Intrepid: Bill says "Cale...so proud of all of your hard work with school and cross country, good luck in you race on Saturday! Mark and Dave would like to say "Hello from the rail. Fishing is good. I love you Audrey, Alayna, Morgan, Brandon, and Cameron....I miss you!!" John says "Hi to Donata and the gang at the fire department." Scott says "Hi Peg, how's the tuna? and it's ceviche time!!!!!" John says "Hello to Kelly, Claire, and Maddie...I miss you!"
