Hi Gang, We awoke this morning to a calm ocean. It has been 5 days of flat calm weather and we have all been enjoying it. As most of the guys are drinking coffee just before first light, we have a few guys that are soaking baits. Then someone shouts "look at all those wahoo!" as a pack of wahoo swim just under the boat in the lights and then all hell breaks loose. Everything is getting bit. Bombs, jigs, bait. Wahoo are boiling right next to the boat, fish are jumping clear out of the water. It was an awesome scene unfolding just as the sun was rising. We continued catching wahoo for most of the morning. As the morning went on we started catching more tuna. We had an awesome day. Everyone onboard has a wahoo now and some of the hot sticks ended up with three or four fish this morning alone. We have to start working our way north now. We will be fishing tomorrow morning before we call it a trip. Wish us luck, Bill Cavavanugh and the Intrepid Team.
