We made it up to the local albacore grounds by daylight. When we saw the traffic, we did our best to stay on the fringes. By late morning it became apparent that wasn't working and we had to go right in the middle of the carnival in order to play the game. We saw decent sign of fish but it was the same worn out story. We would get the boat over the top of the fish but could not make them bite. We ended up the day with about 30 fish and each of those were earned.
