Ranger 85 & Coral Sea Plans

Frank Ursitti - Ranger 85

Hi Everyone,

Summer is here and there are fish biting. Up and down the coast things are starting to heat up.

To the North both the Coral Sea and Ranger 85 are fishing the northern Channel Islands for Seabass, Halibut, and really nice quality Rockfish. In San Diego the first good signs of Yellowtail and Bluefin are being caught by those venturing offshore.

The Coral Sea will be arriving in San Diego the last week of July fishing both private charters and Limited Load trips up to 2.5 days duration.

The Ranger 85 is finishing up June in the Channel Islands with a 3 day trip then heading into a 4 week schedule of ecology trips before we head south beginning our offshore season August 1st. I feel conditions will be ripe by then and the action will be hot!

Looking at our schedule we have plenty of availability on many trips but as things go...when the fish bite, the phone rings off the hook and trips fill fast. Reserve your date today!

August, September and October are prime months fishing offshore and it looks like this season will be better than the last few. Check the schedules for both the Ranger 85 and Coral Sea...you're gonna love fishing either platform.

This past winter we repowered the Coral Sea making her more quiet, comfortable and faster than before. This is the ideal boat for a limited load open trip with a few of your friends or a private charter with smaller groups. Side scan sonar, all new electronics as well as a remodeled galley makes the Coral a great choice when considering your next offshore adventure.

The Ranger 85 has been the 1.5 day leader at H&M Landing for over 12 years earning the reputation as one of the top producers in the fleet. With an expanded schedule there are trips online to meet your schedule...no matter where the bite may be.

"I believe we offer the utmost in customer service prioritizing your positive experience while onboard either of my boats. The crews on both the Coral Sea and Ranger 85 have worked together season after season and strive to make your time on the water both rewarding and fun".

We look forward to fishing with you this offshore season,

Capt. Frank
