We had an awesome time on our recent SFR overnight charter on the Pacific Dawn with Captain Pat Cavanaugh and crew. We travelled all night and went straight to Santa Rosa. The crew tried to look for some squid and caught a few. As morning comes, we waited for the Seabass to come by but nobody's home. Captain Pat decided to move to San Miguel Island. He said they haven't fish this area for awhile due to bad weather. As soon as we got there, Reds and Chucks were biting like crazy. They're all quality fish. Captain Pat Cavanaugh and his Pacific Dawn crew did an outstanding job as always. Chef Whitney did a fantastic job on the gourmet meals. Her delicious Pulled Pork sandwich and her scrumptious Fish Taco were my top choices. As I am writing this, they are in San Diego now catching lots of Albacore. Capt Pat has openings on some of their trips. Please check their web site @ www.pacificdawn.com. They have overnights and 2-day trips available. To reserve your spot, contact PACIFIC DAWN SPORTFISHING at (619) 269-2186 or book online at https://secure.fishingresos.com/pacificdawn/schedule.php. I would like to thank Captain Pat, Mad Dog Mike and the rest of crew for another great day on the water. Good job guys!!!
