Good Morning Anglers and Happy Saturday
Today is the opener for Recreational Dungeness Crab and we'll be using hoop nets as the trap fishery is restricted until January, 2027. We have 8 boats out today and will report later when they are finishing up.
Tomorrow there are a couple of spots for Crab Combos along with 6 spots for catch and release Sturgeon aboard the Heisen-Sturg out of Pittsburg Marina. Please call (510) 652-3403 or go online, www.FishEmeryville.com , to book a trip.
www.DocksideProcessing.com is open and awaiting your return to take the fillets from the boat and clean up and vacuum pack (in 5ml commercial bags) so all your processing chores are done before you leave the landing.
The Crab Shack is also open and ready to cook and/or cook/clean your delicious Dungeness Crab upon your return. Dockside can also vacuum seal the crab.
