Happy Sunday TigerFishermen,
The past few days have been tough at the office. The weather came up on Thursday hindering us from going offshore to the area where we were catching the salmon. We fished nearshore and landed just 3 salmon. On Friday we found a good area but the fish were scattered and big. We landed 10 nice salmon. Saturday’s weather was even worse. Our rockfish trip turned into a Bay livebait trip which offered lots of action on the undersized halibut and smoothhound sharks yielding just 6 halibut and 1 striped bass. Mother Nature finally gave us a little break today. We headed out to the Pacific and were pleasantly surprised with nice weather allowing us to get to the rockfish for 23 limits along with 8 lingcod for our group. We have salmon on the schedule tomorrow. Good signs and a good report from the Southern Hemisphere today. We’ll be exploring our options tomorrow. Wish us luck and …
