The particular school of Salmon we’ve been fishing has got the trigger to their brains & has been moving steadily north over the past several days… typical pattern really… Half Moon Bay - South of the Farallon Island - Noonday Rock - Pt Reyes - … and today we were damn near to Bodega Bay. With that pattern it’s likely we’ll be looking at the next typical phase in our season real quick…
   Good news is that there have been some great reports of limits from the boats sticking closer to home… my favorite time of year is about to start… fishing the Marin or San Mateo Coast just north & south of the Golden Gate. Targeting the biggest fish of the year… full grown adult “spawners” as they congregate and stage for their annual trip up the river - right in our front yard.  Stay tuned !!!
