We returned from our first trip of the season with full fish holds and happy anglers. We wrapped up our 3 Day with 110 Bluefin up to 185lbs! Couldn't have asked for a better start to the year. 

There was ample opportunity on the jigs in the dark. Captain Aliyar reported that the 300-500g models were producing most of the fish. If you are on an upcoming trip, make sure you bring your 80-130# setups. We also had a good shot at daytime fish Sunday morning. Flylined sardines on 40# was the way to go.
