   Pretty slow on the Marin Coast where we’ve been fishing this morning. With only a few fish to show for almost 3 hrs of trolling the fleet set off in different directions to go searching. We headed south to the San Mateo coast and found some good action !! First day of the season we did NOT get limits, but we ended up with a real solid score of 27 King Salmon up to 14lb… well over a fish per rod… with lots of action and a very mixed grade of fish including lots of shakers. We’ll likely be heading north tomorrow where the other half of the fleet found great fishing as well with a larger average size. In the end, looks like we got options, and there are a LOT of Salmon in the ocean this year. Near term bookings are real hard to come by… get your advance reservations in before those disappear too !!!
