Fish Report for 9-28-2020

Yellowfin, Yellowtail and Dorado

Sam Moore
We started our morning with great action on Yellowtail. It started biting for us around 3:30 in the morning and bit steady for about two hours on the dropper loop. Once the Yellowtail backed off we had a school of Yellowfin get on us. Although it was a short window, we had great fishing on Yellowfin up to 30#s for about an hour. We were able to pick at Yellowfin throughout the day but conditions were changing all the time and made it tricky to get a bite. Just shortly after lunch we decided to try another anchor job and we were greeted with a school of Dorado that was eager to play. Once we got our fix on Dorado we tried another anchor drop and slowly picked at some more Yellowfin. Fun day to say the least. We are going to give this zone another shot and hope for similar results. We will check in later.
