Today we said good bye to an old friend and an institution aboard the Salty Lady for the past 40 years. Grover Puckett, may you Rest In Peace. As per his wishes we took a group of his friends out Salmon fishing (not nearly all of them by the way... he touched the lives of so many there’s no way we could have fit them all aboard and I’m sure the selection process was difficult). Surely that was how he would have wished to be sent off... wide open early limits... 42 for 21 up to 18lb. We scattered his ashes next to Roger’s and he will be missed !! The third rod holder from the stern, starboard side, will forever be Grover’s spot.... Thank you Greg and Trudy for organizing the trip, and Chris for getting everyone together.
