The guys had limits of yellowtail and 3 bluefin on this day and a half adventure that returned this morning. Congratulations to jackpot winner, Steven Samarin, with his 34lb bluefin!
The crew is taking a 2 day break from the ocean and then back out this Thursday morning for a 2.5 day charter.
The guys wanted to pass on a tackle tip for everyone that has a trip in the near future - to have some type of anchovie hooks (due to the hit and miss availability of sardines that we are experiencing of late). It would be a good idea to have hooks from #2 size for Anchovies up to the 1.0 - 2.0 size for Dines. Also have a few 3/8" rubbercores in your arsenal.
