Fish Report for 9-3-2012
Better Late Than Never

American Angler
For some of us, one of the best parts about fishing is that everyday is different - as it was today.
With the wind machine turning off by daylight, we were already starting on the right foot. We picked up right where we left off yesterday, and that along with beautiful weather had our confidence high. A few scattered jig strikes kept us busy for the majority of the morning but by noon time we had worked out of them. Not giving in and with an hour left in the trip, the old saying "better late than never" came into effect. A school of 18-25 bluefin and a school of yellowfin allowed us to do some yanking and cranking before we headed for home and it was a perfect way to end the trip.
David and Mitchell Karlin display one of last stop's beautiful grade bluefin for the day.
Enjoying the weather,
