The offshore thing sure has been up and down all year. Most of it has been dependent on the weather - whenever it is windy it's been down and then the fish come up when it's flat. Today was kind of a in between day where the weather was coming down but we did not see very much fish. What little sign of bluefin we did see would just boil a little and was very reluctant to bite. Plan b was yellows on kelps but with the very heavy overcast marine layer the kelps were very hard to find.
Although stops were very few and far between, we did catch a few fish such as our annual picture of the three generations of the Leitner family where grandpa Dan showed off his fishing skills and landed one of today's 2 bait fish tuna.
