Captain Jon Yokomizo from Sea Wolf Sportfishing checked in with a Rockfish report for the Farrallon Islands.  Opening day of rockfish / lingcod season opened today and we lucked out with the weather, near flat calm with a light swell. It took us a while to find biters but when they were ready to eat the anglers with shrimp flys had quick limits with excellent quality yellowtail rockfish and reds, we’ll be covering ground on our upcoming trips to locate the lingcod. The Sea Wolf finished our day with 280 rockfish and 8 lingcod to 12 pounds for our 28 anglers
