After much thought and discussion our ocean shy group decided to brave the Pacific in hopes of salmon instead of freezing inside the windy summer Bay. We opted to mooch instead of troll for this group. We watched the trollers do a big time number around us and one by one they went home. As the traffic cleared we got our action and finished the day with 20 salmon up to 9 pounds. We only have 8 spaces available on Wednesday for salmon mooching and 1 spot on Saturday for rockfish and lingcod.
