Getting It Done
9-12-2016
Bill Cavanaugh
What an absolutely incredible day! It all started early morning, in the dark, catching yellowtail. Once it started cracking grey light, we started catching yellowfin tuna which were biting everything that hit the water. We pulled anchor shortly before 0700 and started looking around for wahoo. It didn't take long. Hook up! It's a double. Catchy tackle bombs, Raider jigs, Salas 6X jr, live bait wire leaders..they all got bit. When the dust had settled, we had 12 wahoo out of our first jig strike of the day. It was steady action through out the morning. Great wahoo fishing today! We also had beautiful weather. To put a great ending to a great day Chef Stan prepared his signature dish, stuffed pork chops, rice pilaf, acorn squash, with a split pea soup and pork belly, fresh baked bread, and paired with a 2012 Kunde Cabernet Sauvignon. We have high hopes for tomorrow. Wish us luck, The Intrepid Team
