Intrepid Fish Report for 9-7-2016
Busy Bluefin
9-7-2016
Sam Moore
We started out our first fishing day of a 3-day trip with Captain Sam Moore at the helm. Pretty incredible day of bluefin tuna fishing. The grade was mostly 70 to 90 pounds and we were busy from 0630 to 1900 with 1 to 5 going the entire day. The early morning was flat fall jigs and sinker rigs working best. The rest of the day was standard finesse fly line sardine fishing. 40# or 50# fluorocarbon with a number 2/0 or 3/0 hook was the key to success. Incredible day of fishing. We will be on scene again tomorrow. Wish us luck. The Intrepid Team
