The Icon led a huge week in the Pot of Gold Tournament this week, there were 2 main contenders for 1st place in the tournament. The 1st came on Wednesday to Martin Wall who landed a 29.6 lbs Halibut that this girlfriend had hooked! Unfortunately for them they were disqualified for handing off the fish, but congratulations with a great halibut and a nice catch. The 2nd contender was Bill Dick of Torrance who landed a 23.30 lbs. Halibut on Friday and tied the current leader Arman Gevorkyan of Sun Valley. The big fish this week started the real action on the Top 25 board-the first anglers were bumped this week, for a full listing check out our website. Bill Dick won the weekly prize of $274 along with a great prize bag sponsored by Maxima Fishing Line, Kencor Rods, 544 Lures, and Berth 55 Sea Food Deli. This week saw the Grand Prize Pot of Gold rise above $1,500 with estimations for the final number to be between $2,500 and $3,000.
