Hey Anglers,

Good evening. We just got Drew and the gang out on The Optima 1 1/2 day, private charter. Weather looks absolutely excellent for them and they should make good speed running down to the tuna grounds. He will probably be able to fish 120, MAYBE, stretch it as far as 180 miles. It sounded like it was good kelping today around 150 miles on better grade yellows. The main tuna hits came at 180-200 miles today for the guys on trips longer than 1 1/2 day for bluefin. One of the boats had 67 bluefin, and another had 30 bluefin and 30 yellowfin today before heading home. And yesterday one had 90 bluefin. We're going to do another 2-day trip on Wednesday to target this fish. If you would like to join us you can book it through Fisherman's Landing at 619-221-8500.
