Thinking about how the trip unfolded with the grade of fish that we caught and listening to the guys down below catching that "mid-grade" fish this morning, made us look deeper into what that fish actually represents. First, the grade of fish that we are talking about are 60-90lbs with a few 40'5 and a few tipping the scale over a 100lbs.

There has been plenty of times in the past and many more times in the future where we would give, or do just about anything to catch this grade of fish whether on a 10 day or even a longer trip.

This fish for years have been even "seasoned" anglers personal bests, and how many times have we heard the story of the 75lb bigeye caught ten years ago while albacore fishing. These fish push all the limits both physically and tackle wise because if undergunned with either - would result in a lost fish.

The reason we are writing about this is, that just because one didn't catch a cow we must not lose perspective or appreciation for these beautiful fish.

We all know that this is easy to do as we are just as guilty as everyone else as we stress our 7 over 200lbs and 1 over 300{see we did it again}.

The enclosed picture shows just how nice these tuna are as we can only dream of these being our bread and butter fish on every trip. In closing, we would like to talk a little about the guys. During this time of thankfulness me and my partner both realize how lucky we are to have such a great crew. From taking care of the boat and passengers,to spotting fish, professionally working the deck, showing the upmost pride in taking care of the great RSW fish and for putting out great meals - we realize that we have some of the best.
