Throughout last night, the rain-related wind finally backed off. We pulled the anchor before daylight and ran out to an area where we saw a little sign of wahoo on the way down. For whatever reason, whether because of the wind or something else, the conditions were not the same - the water had cooled off a degree and a half and we never got a strike. We did however salvage the day, on the beach in the afternoon catching yellows. Everybody had fun yanking and cranking as they were really biting the yo yo jig.
