First thing in the morning we were greeted with a very large school of mixed bluefin and yellowfin. The 80 to 150# bluefin right off the bat started eating the flyline baits. Lots of heartbreaking losses right off the bat made the bluefin back off but we continued to hook these very nice grade yellowfin. 25 to 60 pound fish bit well until about lunchtime on 50 pound gear. We ended our day with 101 yellowfin tuna and 5 bluefin from 80 to 120 pounds. Be prepared to fish 50, 60 and 80# with a flyline bait please! 1/0 to 3/0 circle hooks. Leave the spinners and bait casters at home. Come on out for a chance at a December tuna tonight we depart at 8 pm. Pictured Jeff and his son "New-Logan" with their catch.
